Vivo V60 tipped to launch in India soon with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, OriginOS

Vivo has just launched its camera-centric Vivo X200 FE, and now according to reports, the company can soon introduce Vivo V60 . According to tipster Abhishek Yadav , this phone can be launched in India on 19 August 2025. The biggest thing is that Vivo V60 will get OriginOS instead of Funtouch OS , which will make it different from earlier models. Let’s know all the key information related to this new phone.

Vivo V60 launch date

  • Estimated date : 19 August 2025
  • Location : India

Abhishek Yadav’s sources say that both the announcement and sale of Vivo V60 can start from this date sooner or later.

OriginOS vs Funtouch OS

Previous Vivo phones have run on Funtouch OS, but with the Vivo V60, the company may introduce OriginOS , which is based on Android 16. The new features that users will get from this will be:

  • New Widgets : OriginOS’ floating “nano-widgets” make the home screen even more interactive.
  • Revamped notification shade : Notifications and settings panels will look more streamlined.
  • Better Performance : With Android 16 and OriginOS, you will get smoother animations and better memory management.

This change will also be a big step for Vivo in the global market, as until now OriginOS was limited to China-region devices only.
